well the real question that traditional media needs to ask and doesn’t get - why would amanda leave?? - just take a look at the history of gatekeepers the mainstream media trying to mold amanda in their own image is enough to make her question herself - they probably assumed she would bring her flock which probably didn’t follow - abc didn’t get it and still don’t and why should they??
we are in the middle of an experience revolution a social sculpture with its unintended consequences and freedom of expression - where you can experience internet life in ways and means that make some of us feel like we are explorers discovering the undiscoverable - its a work in progress and many of us know it and we are not spectators but a part of it if we want to be - there are no gatekeepers here - no top down management - wikipedia and facebook are a social movement that show us we can be whomever we want to be and take responsiblity if we want to - in the so called other world we are trapped in a revolving door of fear, greed, manipulation, war and violence that we have been repeating since before the beginning of time - on the internet its an anything goes world wide web that we weave - you find your community your comfort level social network family that talk with you not at you who you can have a dialog with not a one sided conversation as with the TV or NEWS Media who force feeding you their point of view and products and you don’t get the feeling that they really care about you - all they care about is the bottom line and numbers - we live in a time shift in a parallel universe where our online worlds give us the ability to explore the unimaginable -
why would amanda want to be tied to the gatekeepers apron strings - wake up traditional media stop believing in your own propaganda your boat is listing you are tilting at windmills and everything you thought was on solid ground is now resting on quicksand - good for you amanda now show them what they need to learn - geo
