share a defining moment that nobody knows with somebody who knows you and somebody who doesn.t know you
i remember watching the film Zorba the Greek in 1964 based on the novel by Nikos Kazantzakis when it first came out and the last scenes of the film is where zorba says to the boss … what is life without a little bit of madness. or something like that - but it resonated with me till this day and got me thinking that i need to be free to be or not to be me.. and so i quit my job at the new york stock exchange - bought a one way ticket on icelandic airlines and in a few months i was singing row row row your boat life is but a dream while paddling down the sewers (canals) of venice italy in my rubber dingy and on the island of mykonos greece
